Stellarology Co. (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use this website or purchase a report, why we collect it, and how it’s protected.
What We Collect
When you purchase a report, we collect birth date, birth time (if known), and birth place, either:
- Your own, if you’re purchasing Star Portrait for yourself
- Your child’s, if you’re purchasing Little Star Map, provided by you as their parent or legal guardian
- Another adult’s, if you’re purchasing Star Portrait as a gift for someone else, provided with that person’s permission
If you add the Compatibility Overlay: the name, birth date, birth time, and relationship of the additional person you’re including.
We also collect your name, email address, and a screenshot of your PayNow payment, for order verification.
If you contact us or sign up for updates, we collect your name and email address.
If you’re browsing the site, basic anonymous visit data (pages viewed, general location, device type) is collected automatically for our own understanding of how the site is used.
Why We Collect It
Birth details are used for one purpose only: to calculate and write the report purchased. Nothing more.
Your payment screenshot is used only to confirm and match your order, since payments are currently processed manually.
Your email is used to deliver your report and, only if you’ve opted in separately, to send occasional updates from Stellarology Co., never bundled into the same consent as your report purchase.
A Note on Your Child’s Data
If you’re purchasing Little Star Map, you’re providing your child’s birth details on their behalf, as their parent or legal guardian. This information is used solely to generate their report and is handled with the same care as your own.
A Note on Gift Purchases
If you’re purchasing Star Portrait as a gift for someone else, you confirm you have that person’s permission to share their birth details with us for the purpose of generating their report.
A Note on Third-Party Data (Compatibility Overlay)
If you purchase the Compatibility Overlay, you’re providing another person’s birth details for the purpose of generating a compatibility reading between you. By submitting this, you confirm you have that person’s permission to share their information with us for this purpose.
What We Don’t Do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use birth details for anything beyond generating the report purchased.
Who Can See Your Information
Only Stellarology Co. Your data may pass through the service providers we rely on to run the business, our website host, our payment processor, and our email delivery service, solely to the extent needed for those services to function. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
How Long We Keep It
We retain order and birth data for up to 12 months after a report is delivered, in case of follow-up questions, re-sending a report, or our own accounting records. After that, it’s periodically deleted.
If you’ve opted in to receive marketing emails, we retain your email address separately for that specific purpose, until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Your Rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — just reach out via our Contact page. If you’ve opted into marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

This site uses basic analytics to understand overall visitor traffic. This data is anonymous and is not linked to your personal report details.
